Welcome to the PTA Page!

St Matthew's has a very good Fund Raising Committee that is committed to supporting the school in every area it can.

All parents naturally become members of the Fundraisers when joining St Matthew's and are warmly welcomed and encouraged to become actively involved in the planned events.

As a small school we really need the support of the parents and we plan a number of key events each term. We aim to hold one social event each term and at least one event for the children. We really encourage, and need everyone to get involved. We also hold cake sales at our key assemblies such as Harvest Festival and Mother's Day.

Over the years fund raising has helped to pay for playground equipment, laptop computers, school trips and events such as themed Music weeks.

At the Christmas Fair we try to provide fun ways to raise money such as pony riding, face painting, Christmas Trees for sale, mulled wine and mince pies, a barbecue, tombola and a fantastic cake sale.. ..and lots more stalls for the children.

All the above makes a huge contribution to school life at St Matthew's and we try really hard to fund all the little extras that make St Matthew's special.
